Hello Customer, 

Ever since I was old enough to cause havoc with a wrench I was constantly taking some type of motorized equipment apart and putting it back together. Fortunately, as I grew older I became much better at it. I realized this when there were fewer spare parts at the end of my efforts. 

In the summer of '83, my high school years, I started a new job with a rental equipment store. This was my first opportunity to get paid for my improved skills! What a deal that was! This also gave me the opportunity to learn from a very meticulous Master Briggs and Stratton mechanic. Over the years I expanded into the auto repair industry, auto racing hobby, and also into aviation maintenance as a licensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic. 

With a desire to re-visit my mechanical roots I discovered a great opportunity in kart racing. Now having a young and energetic son, I also discovered a very willing driver! 
Back to the books I went. Absorbing every piece of information I could so my son could place well or even win! 

Then - the Briggs Animal was born. My past experience told me that this little OHV gem could become a real monster, and it did. We (Animal & I) spent many long nights together working on every ounce of ambition it had in it. In the end, our quality time together paid off and resulted in numerous 1st place trophies and a Championship trophy in our first year. 

We had a team and were hooked! So hooked I desired to become more involved in the industry. Over time I obtained a Briggs Motorsports license and began my quest. This led into obtaining a kart product dealer account and eventually an expansion into the industrial equipment arena with a Briggs & Stratton Sales and Service Dealer registration and an equipment dealer account. 

What you see today is a product of "effort consolidation". We are a small company working hard to make this web store as convenient and inviting as possible. We believe in customer service and making a deal.
